Neil Russell is Director of HR Services at Forvis Mazars in Thailand, leading the firm’s People Advisory and HR Outsourcing offering. He advises local and international clients on practical, commercially grounded solutions across HR governance, compliance, people operations, organisational effectiveness, and workforce risk management.

Neil has extensive experience in senior HR leadership, consulting, and commercially focused roles, and has worked across a broad range of industry sectors and geographies. This background gives him a well-rounded understanding of diverse operating environments, stakeholder expectations, and the people-related challenges faced by growing and established organisations.

His work includes HR audits and healthchecks, policy and process reviews, HR operating model design, leadership and management capability support, employee relations guidance, and the development of practical HR frameworks for organisations at different stages of maturity. His approach is structured, pragmatic, and risk-aware, with a focus on translating legal, governance, and operational requirements into clear practices that can be applied consistently.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and a Fellow of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI).
