Olivier Lenel is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board of Forvis Mazars in France. A graduate engineer of the Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon, and a Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, he began his career in 1991, specializing in the audit of large corporates and mid-sized companies across the industrial and services sectors.
Appointed Partner in 2002, Olivier has built a career distinguished by a strong combination of audit and advisory expertise. A firm advocate of multidisciplinary approaches, he played a pioneering role in the development of Mazars’ Consulting practice.
In 2003, he launched the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) advisory offering, which became a cornerstone of the firm’s consulting activities. He led the Consulting practice for nearly 15 years, both in France and at the Group level, driving its strategic expansion and positioning it as a key growth engine.
Between 2014 and 2018, Olivier led Consulting in France, and from 2014 to 2016 at the Group level, overseeing the firm’s first major investment and acquisition plan, significantly strengthening its advisory capabilities.
In 2019, he co-led the France Executive Committee alongside Hervé Hélias, Chairman of the Mazars Group, before being elected Chairman of the Executive Board in 2021.
Re-elected in February 2025 by the Partners of Forvis Mazars in France, Olivier also serves as a Member of the Group Governing Board of Forvis Mazars, contributing to the firm’s global strategy and governance.
