How the INDIA-UK FTA could rewire supply chains

“According to the UK government’s estimates, the trade upside could be additional GBP 25 billion,” he shares, emphasising the strategic advantage for exporters.

But with the UK’s climate-linked trade policy, a new standard is emerging: “Indian exporters will face extra carbon tariffs if their products are emissions intensive... The UK may require carbon disclosures, environmental certifications, and green supply chain audits,” notes Rohit.
