How EV fleet operators are riding the quick commerce wave

Rohit Chaturvedi, Partner, Transport and Logistics, Government, Infrastructure and Development Sector Advisory Services, shared his insights on the role of EVs in the fast-growing quick commerce industry and the scale of its contribution to India’s broader electric mobility goals.
He notes, “The push from quick commerce companies will aid EV adoption, but the contribution may remain marginal. NITI Aayog projects two- and three-wheeler EV sales to exceed 15 million units annually by 2030. Even if quick commerce triples its EV fleet, the sector may still account for fewer than 1 million units".
