New online platform for VAT and SBT registration

To promote a taxpayer-centric approach, the Revenue Department has launched the “D-VAT & SBT” system on their website for facilitating online registration of Value Added Tax (VAT) and Specific Business Tax (SBT) anytime and anywhere from 1 September 2025 onward
This new online platform is not only for first-time registration of VAT and SBT for business operators, but it is also used for registering any amendments to VAT and SBT registrants, such as relocation of their place of business, change of establishment name, business transfer, etc., and for filing monthly VAT and SBT returns.
