2025 Greater Bay Area Forum

Forvis Mazars in Hong Kong was honored to have participated in the "2025 Greater Bay Area Forum(“2025粵港澳大灣區論壇”)," jointly organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and the Hong Kong Association of Registered Public Interest Entity Auditors Limited, and co-organized by the Guangdong Province Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Union of Associations of Professional Accountants of Macau.

Under the theme "Converging in the Bay Area · Accounting for Business Growth," the forum brought together elite accounting professionals and business leaders from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau. They engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on pressing topics such as the current geopolitical and economic landscape, corporate strategies for overseas investment, and the role of the accounting profession in supporting the national "Bring In, Go Global" strategy. The forum attracted over 250 guests and accounting professionals from the three regions, making it a premier annual event in the industry.

Our audit partner, Sam Tsoi and China desk & audit department principal, Harris Yuan, attended the event and joined fellow accounting professionals in the Greater Bay Area to explore opportunities for collaboration within the accounting sector and to enhance the standards of professional services.
