2026 Annual Auditing Update Conference (24 October)
It was a pleasure to see our Audit & Assurance Partner, Wing Tam, on stage at the 2026 Annual Auditing Update Conference on 24 October 2026 speaking on the panel “Human Skills Amplified by Technology: Communication, Critical Thinking and Client Insight”.
Wing joined the panel as a member of HKICPA’s Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee (AASC). During the discussion, she draws on hands-on experience on how Forvis Mazars’ Atlas NextGen makes our audits more efficient, consistent and risk-focused audit approach, while ensuring that auditors continue to exercise professional judgement and professional scepticism.
Technology can enhance efficiency and provide deeper insights. But understanding the evidence, asking the right questions and reaching sound conclusions are still human work. As AI continue to evolve, the human element of auditing remains more important than ever.
