Last week, our head of capital markets, Paul She along with audit partner, Samuel Lam & tax director Grace Xia, co-conducted the “Chinese Companies Going Global: Overseas Listing Strategies” sharing session (中國企業海外佈局：上市專題分享會), with ZSZH Shanghai and Forvis Mazars.
The forum featured our experts from Forvis Mazars in APAC, Europe and US who provided in-depth analysis of local tax policies and IPO regulations in key overseas markets. A thought-provoking panel discussion explored the opportunities and challenges for Chinese enterprises expanding globally in the new era of globalization.
During the session, Paul shared valuable insights on Hong Kong IPO regulations for mainland Chinese companies, while Grace presented key tax considerations for Chinese businesses expanding to Hong Kong. The session offered participants practical guidance on navigating cross-border compliance and capital market requirements.
