Background

Anson Li has over 20 years of experience in corporate and individual insolvency, receivership and financial review and investigations across numerous jurisdictions including Hong Kong, PRC, Singapore, Cayman Islands and BVI.   She is an appointment taker of appointments from the High Court of Hong Kong and the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the High Court of Justice, Virgin Islands.

As an experienced insolvency practitioner, Anson is highly skilled in investigating, locating, securing and preserving hidden assets, establishing and implementing enforcement and realisation strategies in distressed situations and investigating and litigating fraudulent transactions and payments in liquidation and bankruptcy.

She also has extensive experience in undertaking independent financial investigations in respect of substantial suspicious payments and irregular transactions, reviewing financial documents to undertake analysis and valuations in contested divorce proceedings and family and shareholder disputes and undertaking solvency or liquidation analysis in legal claims or schemes of arrangement.

Anson was recognised in Global Restructuring Review (GRR) Women in Restructuring 2023 and is highly recommended by Lexology (formerly known as Who’s Who Legal) as Consulting Expert in Restructuring & Insolvency.
