Online registration platform for registered partnerships and limited companies
To promote online business registration, the Department of Business Development (the “DBD”) is launching “DBD Biz Regist”, a new digital platform to register legal entities such as registered partnerships and limited companies.
DBD Biz Regist will replace the e-registration system that the DBD has been using since 2017. The new digital platform can be used to register a legal entity and make any changes in corporate registration information required by law.
From 1 July 2025 onward, the DBD will cancel walkin registrations, and those wishing to register such a legal entity must do so through DBD Biz Regist.
It is important to note that registration requests may not be granted approval the same day on which the application was submitted. Therefore, applications must be submitted before the deadline for registration under the law.
