Kieran is a Manager within the Accounting Advisory service team, supporting clients with a range of services including preparing complex consolidated and company financial statements and providing advice on technical accounting issues.

Experience

Kieran has provided support and advised businesses across a variety of sectors, for both listed and private groups. She has experience in preparing and reviewing technical opinion papers addressing accounting requirements for various transactions and technical issues such as accounting for development costs, modification of debt instruments and accounting for revenue.

In addition, Kieran has advised businesses on the accounting considerations required for group reorganisations and on converting to IFRS or UK GAAP. Kieran has experience in reviewing and preparing annual and interim consolidated and company financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP. She has experience in ensuring compliance in accordance with the appropriate accounting frameworks and UK regulations and also in providing advice on best practices or on areas of improvement.

Work highlights

Through a secondment to a premium main market listed company, Kieran integrated herself into the finance team. She assisted the team in preparing the year-end and interim consolidated company financial statements. Kieran also helped provide an understanding of technical accounting requirements and produced technical papers on new transactions such as investment properties, joint ventures and recognition of revenue.
