Forvis Mazars Foundation UK announces £308,000 in new Community Grants to support under resourced young people across the UK

22 charities selected to receive funding aimed at improving social mobility and life chances for under-resourced youth.

The Forvis Mazars Foundation UK, an independent registered charity dedicated to improving social mobility across the UK, has awarded £308,000 to 22 charitable organisations as part of its Community Grants programme. These grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to reducing the attainment gap, preparing young people for life, and widening access to education and employment.

Following a rigorous evaluation process, the Foundation’s grants panel recommended funding for charities delivering high-impact programmes in areas of significant need. The selected organisations span a wide range of focus areas, from literacy and employability to mental health and outdoor learning, and each will receive flexible funding to scale their work and deepen their impact.

James Gilbey, Chief Executive Officer at Forvis Mazars in the UK and a trustee of Forvis Mazars Foundation UK, said: "We are proud to support these outstanding organisations making a real difference in the lives of young people across the UK. Our support will help the charities scale their impact, reach more communities, and create lasting change. We're pleased to be able to deliver this breadth of support so soon after launching the Foundation and demonstrate the strength of our commitment to driving meaningful progress."

In addition to financial support, Forvis Mazars employees will engage with selected partners through pro bono services and skilled volunteering. This funding is distributed to charities across the UK, ensuring a broad and inclusive impact on young people from diverse communities.

Launched on National Social Mobility Day (12th June 2025), the Foundation builds on over forty years of charitable giving through the Mazars Charitable Trust. It provides flexible funding, fosters collaboration, and supports charities working with young people aged up to 25, helping them achieve their potential and build a positive future.

Graeme Marsh, Foundation Manager at Forvis Mazars Foundation UK, added: “Whether it’s through mentoring, literacy support, outdoor adventure, or employability coaching, our community partners are helping young people build the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to thrive. Our flexible funding will help each of our partners to expand their reach and continue their work in the face of rising costs and increasing demand for their services.”
