Moving May
Moving May is Forvis Mazars in the UK’s firm‑wide, inclusive movement challenge, bringing our team members together to support social mobility across the UK while also promoting wellbeing.
The initiative aims to encourage physical activity, support mental wellbeing, strengthen team connections and raise funds for IntoUniversity, a key charity the firm supports.
Throughout May, team members will participate in a range of physical activities, contributing to a collective effort to complete a virtual route linking all Forvis Mazars offices in the UK. The Big Team Challenge platform will track over 100 activities and movements, converting them into steps to chart progress.
Led by the Corporate Sustainability team and the Wellmakers Network, the challenge encourages local office engagement through organised walks, sports clubs, active commutes and meetings as well as team-led mini challenges. The goals are to promote personal wellbeing and raise funds for IntoUniversity, which supports young people from less-resourced backgrounds to achieve their potential. The newly launched Forvis Mazars Foundation UK will be match-funding all donations raised. Supporters wishing to donate to this cause can do so here.
This initiative aligns with Forvis Mazars’ continued support of IntoUniversity since 2023, helping young people develop skills, build confidence and explore career opportunities. It also supports the firm’s broader commitment to wellbeing through its individual, collective and firm-wide wellbeing framework.
“Moving May is about more than getting active – it’s about doing it together. It’s a chance to collaborate with our teams, support each other’s wellbeing and make a real impact for IntoUniversity,” said James Gilbey, CEO, Forvis Mazars in the UK.
