Harris Yuan participated in “Meet Hong Kong in Hunan, Lead the World through Innovation” roundtable (August 2025)
On 19 August 2025, our principal, Harris Yuan participated as a guest speaker in the “Meet Hong Kong in Hunan, Lead the World through Innovation(湘遇香港，創領世界)” cultural and creative industry roundtable held in Changsha, Hunan. The event was jointly organized by the Invest Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), the Management Committee of Malanshan (Changsha) Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, and the Hunan Liaison Unit of the HKSAR Government’s Wuhan Economic and Trade Office.
The roundtable aimed to introduce Hunan-based enterprises to Hong Kong’s business policies and demonstrate how these can help enhance their brand influence and expand into the international market. It also promoted the services provided by Invest Hong Kong to help businesses stay updated with the latest policies and commercial developments related to investing in Hong Kong.
During the session, Harris shared insights on how cultural and creative industry enterprises can leverage Hong Kong as a platform to go global. He also discussed the current status and trends of A-share companies listing in Hong Kong, as well as key tax regulations and considerations that require attention. In addition, experts from Invest Hong Kong and the Wuhan Economic and Trade Office introduced Hong Kong’s business-friendly environment and talent admission schemes.
