Oliver Hoffman Partner - Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

Oliver heads up our Mergers & Acquisitions team in the UK. He advises clients on transactions and his personal focus is selling businesses for entrepreneurs, families, corporates, private equity and those with overseas ownership.

Experience 

Oliver has worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions sphere for 30 years, the last 21 years working with us. Over the years Oliver has worked with a huge variety of different clients across a broad range of industries helping both buy and sell. In recent years he has focused principally on selling businesses - 50% have been sales to UK acquirers and 50% being sales to international buyers.

Our proprietary platform CFxB (Corporate Finance Cross order) enables Oliver to seamlessly connect with our Mergers & Acquisition team internationally to identify strategic international buyers for the benefit of his clients. Oliver is well connected within the CFxB community having chaired it for several years. Whilst his clients are across the UK (and beyond), Oliver is based in Leeds and until recently he was the Leeds Office Managing Partner.

Work Highlights 

Oliver has been privileged whilst working here to have held several leadership roles. For ten years he was the Office Managing Partner for our Leeds office and for several years he chaired CFxB our international Mergers & Acquisition platform helping connect clients with buyers and sellers internationally. For over twelve years Oliver has enjoyed the role of heading our client facing Mergers & Acquisitions team nationally and he is also responsible for our own acquisition activity as we continue to grow the firm.
