Pier Paolo joined Forvis Mazars in 2007. He is the contact person of Forvis Mazars in Italy for real estate practices.

He has a 10-year experience in the audit of international clients that operate in the Financial Services and real estate sector (fund managers and real estate funds, banking, factoring).

He is an active member of the Commissione Tecnica Servizi Finanziari of Assirevi, the association of auditors in Italy.

He was part of the “AQR” team, supporting Bank of Italy in the Asset Quality Review for the ECB Comprehensive Assessment exercise; He managed monitoring trustee activities on behalf of the European Commission – DG competition.

Expertise

Pier Paolo managed accounting and financial due diligence related to transactions, financing agreements and debt restructuring involving Real Estate funds.

He also managed Quality Assurance activities supporting the Bank of Italy in the ECB Comprehensive Assessment exercise (so called “Asset Quality Review” – AQR), reviewing collaterals valuation for the collective provision analysis.

He took part to monitoring trustee activities, supporting the Competition Regulators, on a complex anti-trust case involving a large publicly owned oil and gas company.
