Francesca, since 2019, is a Partner in Audit and Assurance at Forvis Mazars in Italy, based in Florence. She specialises in the industrial and services sectors and is a qualified Legal Auditor.

She has built her career over more than two decades in the audit profession, developing strong expertise in the auditing of industrial companies and complex corporate structures. Before joining Forvis Mazars, she gained extensive experience of about 15 years at one of the big 4, where she worked in the audit practice as well.

Experience

Francesca joined Forvis Mazars as Audit Partner, bringing with her a solid background in the operational management of audit engagements for national and international companies and groups, including listed entities. This experience has enabled her to develop deep knowledge of both national and international accounting and auditing standards.

Since 2020, she has been CSR Ambassador for Forvis Mazars in Italy. She is a member of the Forvis Mazars Centre of Excellence for Sustainability Assurance and Attestation. In this role, she contributes her expertise to assurance and conformity attestation activities on sustainability reports, supporting clients in their journey towards compliance with evolving sustainability regulations.
She is qualified to perform conformity attestations of sustainability reports.

She is actively involved in professional training and has participated in the PCAOB training programme promoted by Forvis Mazars.

Francesca is a frequent speaker at professional and academic events, including seminars organised by the Florence Chartered Accountants Association, public conferences and technical seminars promoted by Forvis Mazars in Italy, and academic lectures on auditing at the Universities of Florence and Pisa.

She graduated with honours in Business Administration from the University of Pisa.
