Becca is a Director and leads our Edinburgh Insurance Risk Consulting team. She has over 12 years of experience in audit and consulting for insurance clients.

Experience

Becca is a qualified life insurance actuary. She strongly focuses on sustainability reporting, climate risk and net zero transition planning for life insurance firms. She has extensive experience across a broad range of financial reporting metrics and has worked with clients to assess and redesign reporting processes, conduct methodology reviews and model validation. Becca also has experience in risk function effectiveness and improvement, and in the life insurance deals market.

Work Highlights

Becca has reviewed the TCFD report of a mutual life insurer and provided a roadmap to remediate gaps in reporting. She has reviewed the climate scenario analysis approach of a life insurer with a large annuity portfolio and provided recommendations for improvements Becca has performed a risk function effectiveness assessment for an international consolidator and led the delivery of planned improvement actions for the ERM team. Additionally, she has led the actuarial audit of several large life insurers.
