Forvis Mazars in the UK appoints Elizabeth Young as Partner, leading Risk Assurance in Scotland
In this role, Elizabeth will establish and grow a dedicated risk assurance practice in the region, with a particular focus on public sector clients, enhancing the firm’s capabilities in this market and strengthening Forvis Mazars’ presence in Scotland.

Elizabeth brings nearly 20 years of expertise in risk assurance and audit. Her career spans senior in-house roles and, as a consultant, she has delivered outsourced internal audit services for public sector organisations, as well as commercial and third sector clients.

Elizabeth is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). She is also a member of ICAS’s Audit and Assurance Panel, bringing an internal audit perspective to support the panel’s work on advancing audit quality and best practice.
