Jamie Hyne Manager - Indirect Tax

Jamie is an Indirect Tax Manager based in Birmingham, specialising in VAT compliance. He supports various international and domestic clients in different sectors with their UK VAT compliance and advisory needs.

Experience

With almost 6 years of experience in Indirect Tax, Jamie has overseen and led the growth of our VAT compliance service offering as a team through continuous development in key areas such as the use of technology, implementation of MTD compliant processes and effective risk management.

He has assisted both domestic and international businesses in establishing VAT processes in the UK and has been involved in the co-ordination of wider international projects.

Work highlights

Jamie progressed through our ranks from joining as a school leaver and gained his ATT qualification alongside working full time as an apprentice. He has been responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of our MTD software offering within the VAT team for over 5 years, which has led to him developing a specialism in VAT compliance whilst continuing to provide advice on technical matters in an advisory capacity.
