James Fox Associate Director - Forensics & Valuations

James is an Associate Director in the Forensic and Valuation services team. He helps clients resolve complex disputes involving, amongst other things, the application of International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice ("UK GAAP"). He also routinely advises on matters related to International Standards on Auditing ("ISAs") and performs forensic investigations.
Experience
James started his career at the firm in our audit team in 2012, before transferring to specialise in forensic accountancy in 2016, shortly after he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In this role, James has helped many clients across the world resolve their accounting disputes in a number of sectors, including Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services and Technology. His experience includes arbitration, litigation, expert determination and other alternative routes of dispute resolution.

- Helping smaller, owner-managed businesses in disputes with much larger counterparties, to assisting on multibillion dollar fraud and breach of warranty claims which have been initiated after an acquisition.
