Katie Archer Associate Director - Forensics and Investigations

Katie is an Associate Director in the Forensics and Investigations team. She brings over a decade of experience in delivering complex and high-profile investigations and compliance assignments across various sectors. 

Currently, Katie spearheads investigations and forensic reviews for our Public and Social Sector team.

Experience

Throughout her career, Katie has led numerous complex and high-profile investigations. Her tenure with the Metropolitan Police Service has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of conducting investigations intended for criminal prosecution. 

Katie possesses substantial experience in overseeing forensic investigations into areas such as fraud, ethics and code of conduct violations, suspected conflicts of interest, breaches of procurement processes, and handling anonymous whistle-blowers and complaints concerning commercially and politically sensitive matters. 

In addition, Katie acts as the firm’s recognised subject matter expert on fraud for Public and Social Sector clients, regularly providing cross‑service line guidance, to teams such as Risk Consulting, on fraud risk management, fraud prevention frameworks and strategies, and sector specific threats and risk trends.
