Director - Monitoring Trustee Services Lisa Cutting

Lisa Cutting is a director within the firm's Monitoring trustee team and has worked at the firm for over 10 years. 

Before joining the firm in 2014 as a Monitoring Trustee, she had qualified as a solicitor, working in private practice for 10 years.​

Currently, her role includes reviewing transaction agreements and ensuring consistency with structural remedies, such as commitments to divest a business or assets.

Experience

Lisa has experience in reviewing the scope and implementation of business transfers to ensure that all of the relevant assets, personnel, licences and technology are transferred with the divestment business in line with the requirements contained in the commitments. All to ensure that the business can operate independently post-divestiture.​

Additionally, Lisa has experience in reviewing the terms of agreements contemplated by commitments and ensuring continued compliance with behavioural commitments post-divestiture to provide access to infrastructure or access to technology.  

Lisa is also experienced in project managing long-term behavioural access trustee assignments and overseeing the implementation of ring-fencing measures, both technical and non-technical and works closely with the firm's Technical and cyber security teams.

Accreditations/ memberships of professional bodies

  • She has an LLM (first class) in European Business Law from Université Aix Marseille, where she completed a research project on damages claims arising out of breaches of EU anti-trust legislation.
