Matt is the head of our Personal insolvency team at Forvis Mazars and operates as an appointment taking Partner at the firm. Matt takes a pragmatic and innovative approach to leading personal insolvency assignments and has a track record in managing litigation risk in high-profile contentious scenarios.

He is the Office Managing Partner for our Gloucester office, but equally spends time in our other offices around the UK fulfilling his various roles.

Experience

Matt has been a personal insolvency appointment taker for over a decade and holds in excess of 20 years of experience in the consumer debt landscape. Prioritising client outcomes is something that he has taken pride in achieving throughout his career, together with technical excellence in the bankruptcy space from his days at a top 4 accountancy firm to leading the Forvis Mazars Personal Insolvency business. Working in a keenly litigious market, Matt has successfully delivered material returns to our clients, navigating high profile and contentious investigative bankruptcy situations across multiple jurisdictions, prioritising asset recovery and cost value.
