Tommy Cooke Partner - Audit & Assurance

Tommy is an audit partner and Responsible Individual (RI). He is a leader in the Milton Keynes Industry & Services audit team with overall responsibility for delivering high-quality audits and client service.

He is also project manager for the firm's Public Interest Committee, a key governance function of the firm.

Experience 

Tommy has over 12 years’ experience within our audit team having trained and qualified with the firm. Tommy works with clients across a variety of sectors and in recent years has focused on large and listed entities, including those listed on AIM and the Main Market.

His key strengths lie in developing effective relationships with people; this facilitates the development of high-performing teams as well as established and strong working relationships with his clients.

Through Tommy's involvement in the firm's Public Interest Committee, he understands key aspects of strong corporate governance and has demonstrated an ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Tommy is also a member of the firm's Family Network Committee.

Tommy enjoys leading teams and people to ensure consistently high levels of client service are provided. His communication skills enable effective discussions with Boards, Audit Committees and other senior stakeholders.

He is a leader in the Milton Keynes Industry & Services audit team, with a key focus on people development, strategic workforce planning and sustainable growth. Tommy also has experience as Reporting Accountant for Investment Circulars and is therefore familiar with review engagements carried out in accordance with the Standards for Investment Reporting (SIRs). This has also given him a broader understanding of how capital markets function.
