Forvis Mazars welcomes 326 trainees
The new cohort will be based in over 13 offices across England and Scotland, joining teams in five service lines, with the majority entering the firm’s audit practice. This year’s intake includes 172 graduates, 79 school leavers, 43 returning placements, and 32 industrial placement students, reflecting the firm’s inclusive approach to attracting talent from a wide range of backgrounds.
“We’re thrilled to welcome this year’s cohort of trainees to Forvis Mazars and we look forward to empowering them to reach their full potential,” said Margaret Laidlaw, Head of People and Culture at Forvis Mazars in the UK. “Their ambition, curiosity and drive will help shape the future of our firm. We’re committed to giving them the support and opportunities they need to thrive, and we’re excited to see the impact they’ll make.”
The arrival of the new trainees follows a year of recognition for the firm’s early careers programmes. Forvis Mazars rose 15 places to achieve its highest-ever position in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers, and was ranked in the Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers, celebrating its continued investment in nurturing future leaders.
This dedication is further reflected in the firm’s latest ICAEW exam results, where students outperformed the ICAEW average by an impressive 12.4%. First-time exam takers achieved particularly strong results, scoring 9.4% above the institute’s benchmark across all papers.
Forvis Mazars continues to invest in its people and culture, with a focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and long-term development.
