Ed Lambert Assistant Manager - Due Diligence

Edward is an Assistant Manager within the Financial Due Diligence team, having joined in September 2025. He supports clients on acquisitions, disposals and refinancing transactions, leading on key aspects of engagements such as financial analysis, working capital and net debt assessments and the preparation of client deliverables.

Experience

He specialises in financial due diligence, having made the transition from Audit in September 2025, where he spent four years. He has developed expertise in analysing historical financial performance, net working capital, net debt and transaction-related risks, while supporting clients through acquisitions, disposals and refinancing processes. In his current role, he leads key elements of diligence engagements, manages stakeholder relationships and delivers high-quality financial insights to support informed investment decisions.

Work highlights 

Edward worked on the audit of an AIM listed entity, which was subsequently picked up for review by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC). The audit was awarded the highest possible inspection rating, reflecting the high quality of work delivered by Edward and the engagement team.

In his current role, Edward has played a key role in delivering financial due diligence services to clients in support of proposed transactions. He has contributed to the successful execution of numerous engagements, providing robust financial analysis and commercial insights that have enabled clients to make well-informed investment and business decisions. The successful completion of many of these transactions reflects the value and quality of the advice and support he has provided throughout the deal process.
