Jessica Howard Director - Accounting Technical Services

Jessica provides accounting and corporate reporting technical advice to clients reporting under both UK GAAP, including FRS 102 and FRS 101, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). She also provides technical advice on compliance with company legislation and corporate reporting requirements.

Experience 

Jessica has over 18 years of experience specialising in the practical application of IFRS, UK GAAP and UK company law across a wide range of sectors, including Consumer, Retail, Technology, Infrastructure & Energy, Manufacturing and Transport.

As a director in the Accounting Technical Services team, she regularly advises on complex technical matters for clients ranging from FTSE‑listed groups to privately owned businesses. Her extensive experience enables her to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused guidance, including support with listed‑company disclosure requirements and the implementation of detailed accounting standards.

She also leads the development of the firm’s technical communications and publications, with responsibility for horizon scanning and keeping clients informed of upcoming reporting developments.

Work highlights 

Jessica is an active contributor to the wider profession, serving on the UK Endorsement Board (UKEB) Technical Accounting Firms and Institutes Advisory Group, the Forvis Mazars Group IFRS Committee and the Centre for Public Interest Audit (CPIA) Technical Advisory Panel, and she meets regularly with the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
