Martyne Pearson Partner - Indirect Tax

Martyne joins the firm’s Tax practice, where she will focus on supporting midmarket and international businesses on complex supply chain matters. In her new role, she will lead the continued development of the London VAT team, strengthening the firm’s VAT offering and expanding its presence in key markets.

Experience

Martyne holds over 25 years of experience advising clients on VAT matters both domestically and internationally (with experience working for HMRC, practice roles and industry secondment).

Work highlights

She has won a Managing Partner Award at a previous Firm for the implementation of MTDfV software/process. Further, Martyne has supported clients to obtain significant VAT refunds (mainly in the travel sector) and secure bespoke rulings through negotiation with HMRC. She has extensive experience advising clients on international expansion both into and out of the UK.
