Will Lucas Executive - Tax

Will is a Corporate Tax Executive within the Tax Reporting and Tax Transactions teams at Forvis Mazars. He supports clients with corporation tax compliance and reporting obligations, while also assisting on transaction tax projects including tax due diligence and tax advisory work relating to acquisitions and disposals.

Experience 

Will has experience across both corporate tax compliance and transaction tax services for just under 2 years. His work includes preparing corporation tax computations and returns, supporting tax reporting requirements, assisting with tax due diligence engagements, identifying tax risks and opportunities, and coordinating with UK and international teams on cross-border projects.

In his current role, he works with a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors, supporting both local and national engagements. He contributes to the delivery of high-quality client service by helping clients meet their tax compliance obligations and by supporting transaction projects that inform strategic business decisions.

Work highlights

Since joining the firm, Will has contributed to a wide range of corporation tax compliance and transaction tax engagements, supporting clients across multiple sectors. A particular highlight has been his involvement in tax due diligence projects, where he has helped identify key tax risks and opportunities associated with acquisitions, supporting clients in making informed investment decisions.

Alongside his transaction work, Will has successfully managed corporation tax compliance responsibilities for a portfolio of clients, helping them meet their tax reporting obligations while maintaining a high standard of client service. He has also continued to develop his technical expertise by progressing his ACA and CTA qualifications, applying this knowledge in practice to support clients and colleagues on a variety of tax matters across both local and national engagements.
